At age 4 Caroline Hedaya was getting phone calls at home from her school telling her mother her outfits were too extravagant for the class room. Her mother refused to tame her desire to dress herself everyday, and that's where it all began. While Caroline was distracting her teachers and schoolmates, Donna Baxter was in her bedroom drawing Crayola fashion sketches pretending she was the head of her own fashion house. Her family, being supportive and entertained, never let her believe otherwise.

Fast forward 14 years later, and the two met while sitting across from each other in sewing class their first day of F.I.T. Being two of the quirkier students in the classroom, they always joked around about starting their own line together. Realizing that their different design philosophies and visions could create a really special line, the two got started not a day later then after graduation.

The Caroline Hedaya brand is based on a graceful stylish woman with a sense of humor. Hedaya draws inspiration from vintage couture and a more classic style, while Baxter, growing up with an inspired musical background, brings sharpness to their design philosophy. Combined, the two create what's been called a "young sophisticate" look.
